What is an IRS LT11 notice or letter 1058?

The IRS is putting the taxpayer on notice that they have not received payment for your overdue taxes.

The IRS intends to seize your property or rights to your property.

The IRS can attach a levy to your wages or bank accounts up to the amount owed.

The IRS may also file a Notice of Federal Tax Lien.  A lien is a public notice to your creditors that the government has a right to your interests in your current assets and any assets you acquire after the IRS files a lien.  A lien can affect your ability to get credit in the future.

DO NOT IGNORE THIS NOTICE.

The professionals at IRS Help, Inc. can analyze your tax situation and advise you on options that may be available.

Of course, the best option is to pay your unpaid balance in full.  If that is not an option it is reccomended that you seek the advice of a tax professional.
